Our xT911 Call Handling Solution
The xT911 call handling solution is comprised of three primary components*:
- A software-based phone switch: xSwitch—the backend powerhouse behind xT911
- A Next Generation, integrated mapping solution, xTrakker
- The xT911 call taker client and administrator tools
xT911 fulfills all the functions of your current system and is ready for NG9-1-1 with a VoIP–based I2 and I3 compliant phone system. Comprised of two core components: xT911 and xSwitch, it supports full Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) functionality and includes a built-in soft switch (xSwitch) that handles both TELCO selective routing as well as PBX functions. Invest in a system, ready to process landline, wireless and native VoIP calls. xT911 is fully upgradeable, redundant, secure, and provides the following features:

In addition to being purchased as a product suite, xT911’s primary components may be
purchased individually.
NENA i3 specifications call for 9-1-1 call handling systems to be able to process VoIP calls directly from the internet. Such systems must integrate with upstream networks including video relay services, OnStar and other telematic providers.
Enables the administrator to bring up new call taker positions quickly without costly service calls.
xT911 is comprised of a redundant telephony switch in addition to critical system components including IP switches and routers. In addition, the system utilizes a distributed IP network with redundant connections, where if one IP connection should fail, call information can still be re-routed to a functioning connection, ensuring exceptional system availability.
xAdmin |
Manage the xT911 System
from one Central Application |
xAdmin enables PSAP supervisors to manage their users and discrepancy logging, and/or for your top level DBA to manage all PSAP users, review/approve discrepancies and build reports. ALI discrepancies can be automatically broadcast to Telcos or sent to xALI Discrepancy Web interface for Telco resolution via the internet.
xAdmin’s integration with The X-Solution™ enables you to resolve ALI and GIS discrepancies seamlessly via full integration with xALI DBMSand x9GIS. System features include:
- Better reporting functionality utilizing Crystal Reports to report on all
call statistics.
- Management of users, assigning different permissions based on
job duties.
- Stable and scalable backend database using SQL Server 2005.

Automatic Call Distribution
xT911 includes an i3 compliant selective router (xSR). xSR performs all the functions of a legacy selective router but further enhances call routing with spatial-based routing. In addition, the router uses NENA’s Emergency Services Routing Proxy (ESRP), ensuring that all communications, including VoIP, IM and other IP-based communications are accurately located and routed to the correct PSAP.
