With a decade of experience in 9-1-1 data support, telephone analysis, and mission-critical technology initiatives, Holly Stone has stepped into the position of Project Management at microDATA.

Holly’s appointment was announced by Christine McMullen, Vice President of the Business Development Group at microDATA, which was established in 1982 with roots in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).  Over the years the company has become a leading provider of 9-1-1 mapping software and Internet Protocol (IP)-based data technologies to public safety organizations throughout the United States.

Prior to microDATA, Holly moved through the ranks of Intrado, Inc., a company with a long history of delivering safety and security, and mobility solutions to telecommunications providers, public safety organizations and government agencies.  She started with Intrado, based in Longmont, Colorado as a Senior Continuous Improvement Analyst.  Through the years Holly excelled at the positions of Quality Management Specialist, Data Integrity Unit Supervisor, Program Manager and Product Team Project Manager.

Most recently Holly was a Product Manager and oversaw complex, concurrent technology projects through the product development lifecycle.  Her work included interfacing with technology partners, the Federal Emergency management Association (FEMA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), as well as managing vendor relationships with companies like ESRI, Tele Atlas and Edify.

“The depth of her experience within our industry, and her exceptional project Management skills make Holly an ideal fit for microDATA,” said Ms. McMullen.  “This is particularly so as it relates to our deployment of a new, Next Generation, Enhanced 9-1-1 system for the entire State of Vermont.  It will be the first completely integrated IP-based system to be implemented on a statewide basis in the nation.”

microDATA is based in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, and has regional offices in Kentucky, Michigan, Rhode Island and Washington.
